Not included are any and all drinks other than bottled water and wine.
Accommodation
Accommodation for the tour is dependent on availability, normally provided either at Skukuza, Pretoriuskop or Letaba.
Allocations are made with these camps, but if all slots have been filled, availability elsewhere in the park will be checked and booked.
Important Info & Warnings
• We are available to pick you up at any hotel situated within Johannesburg or Pretoria
• For guests flying into Nelspruit airport, we advise that they arrange their arrivals for 11AM on the first day of their safari, where your guide will pick you up off your flight and continue your safari
• Guests leaving Johannesburg by plane on day three urged to not book flights departing earlier than 7:30 PM so that the transport arrives at the airport on time for their flight. There is, however , no guarantee on arrival times in Johannesburg on the last day
• Depending on flight schedules, guests departing from Nelspruit on the last day may not have time to take the panorama route
Attractions
Attractions to the area include the panorama route, running past the well known
Blyde River Canyon
, overlooked by the Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls, and a stop at Pilgrims Rest for lunch
Wildlife
Indigenous to this area are elephants (often sighted on the roads in the area), lions, Cape Weaver (Ploceus capensis), hyena, leopard, owls, nightjars, civet, and genet, as well as essentially any and all indigenous Kruger National Park animals, including the remainder of the
Big Five
.
Day 1
• Guides will be available to collect guests at all Johannesburg or Pretoria hotels, departure from Johannesburg being between 6:30AM and 8:00AM. The group will arrive in the National Park, between 1 and 2 PM, stopping for lunch in a small town en route to the park
• Straight from entering the gates, guests embark on an afternoon spent driving around and across the park in search of wild animals, under the ever watchful and well versed supervision of professional guides
• Late afternoon has guests arriving for check-in at the first camp, perhaps followed shortly with a quick swim, a breeze around the camp's shop, or a leisurely amble around the camp
• Guides prepare a candle-lit, al fresco evening meal right outside the chalet, while engaging you in stories and information about the park, its inhabitants and its history. Wine is served and included in evening meals
Day 2
• Guides provide an early morning wake up call, whereafter fresh coffee and snacks are served, and the group packs and sets out for the morning’s drive, in search of more wild animals
• A stop is made for breakfast at one of the Kruger picnic spots
• After most of the morning spent around Skukuza, the drive eventually routes towards the next camp, all the while overdubbed with a wealth of information provided by the tour guide. Here, guests are afforded a few hours to relax on the camp grounds during the hottest part of the day, when wildlife are to be seen much less of besides, as they tend to hide. Restaurant facilities are available for lunch
• The late afternoon sees the group ride out again, for a drive into the starlit evening. From here, a high powered flashlight is used to exhibit the usually shy nocturnal population of the park . After your return, a dinner prepared by your guide is served under the stars around a crackling fire, where guests can regale each other with stories of the day's events
Day 3
• Following a wake-up call and a rousing cup of coffee, guests head out into the bush for one last shot at seeing and photographing the national park's astounding wildlife. While we cannot guarantee sightings of its famous elephants, guests stand a much-better-than-average chance of spotting them within a distance of a few meters from the car
• Breakfast is served following the morning drive. Guests have time to freshen up before beginning to trip back to Johannesburg.

Optional Excursion (free of charge)
We offer an optional excursion to visit select attractions along the Panorama Route in all our Kruger Safaris of 3 days or longer. We stop in one of the small towns en-route for breakfast (included) and visit attractions such as the
Blyde River Canyon
, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls and God’s Window. We return to Skukuza at around 11h00. This excursion is available free of charge, replaces one of the morning drives and will be co-ordinated by our staff while you are on safari with us. (Should all guests departing on the same day opt to join this excursion, we will start with a game drive of about 1½ hours in our closed transfer vehicle en-route to the gate, followed by visiting the Panorama Route and then returning to Johannesburg without coming back to Skukuza.)
