Jock Safari Lodge is the first private lodge set in the heart of Africa’s premier wildlife reserve, the Kruger National Park. The lodge is located at the confluence of the Mitomeni and the Biyamiti rivers in the southern region of the park. The lodge has an exclusive traversing area of 6000 hectares within this spectacular reserve. The theme of the lodge reflects the era of the first gold rush through the old Transvaal and the book ‘Jock of the Bushveld’ written by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick.
Accommodation is in luxury suites as well as a private lodge with three suites offering guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance, surrounded by unspoilt wilderness. Safaris are taken in open land-rovers with professional rangers and trackers who will offer you close encounters with the Africa’s spectacular wildlife (Africa’s Big 5). Walking and birding safaris may also be taken on trails through the concession area.
Cuisine: At Jock African cuisine is on offer, which incorporates an abundance of flavours accumulated on the routes followed by sir Percy Fitzpatrick. The head chef of Jock and the passionate team conjure up dishes of legendary proportions, allowing your taste buds to follow their own African journey.
The cuisine is presented in a variety of locations. From Silver service in the elegant dining room, to an eating adventure under the panorama of the African night.

Rates Include:
Accommodation, all meals, game drives, local South African beverages, 14% VAT and Tourism Levy.
Rates Exclude:
Telephone, laundry, Wellness Centre treatments, shop purchases or gratuities.
Extra information
Children aged 3 and less than 7 years old may share a room with the parents and will be charged 25% of the Normal rate, which includes meals and accommodation.
Children aged 7 and less than 12 years old, will be charged 50% of the Normal rate, which includes meals, accommodation and game drives.
Children from 12 years old will require a seperate room at 100% Normal rate.

No Children under 6 years permitted on game drives.
A minimum of two nights must be booked in High Season (October - April)
What to Take:
Malaria precautions are recommended.
Walking shoes, sun hats, sungalsses, sun protection cream.
Cameras and binoculars.
Warm clothing - anoraks/jerseys for game drives.
Light clothing and swimming costumes for summer.
Should you not be able to attend lunch on the day of arrival, please inform us accodingly.
The lodge is unable to accommodate more than 2 adults per room.
