Berg en Dal Main Camp
Berg en Dal is situated on the banks of the Matjulu Spruit with a view over softly undulating hills to the east. On the northern and southern sides dry riverbeds and a dam border the camp. There are large trees along the streams and dry riverbeds. Special care has been taken to preserve the natural vegetation in the camp.

Both main rooms are fully equipped with en-suite bathrooms. Separate bathroom services the other rooms. Fully equipped kitchen, television, lounge and dining room.
Family Cottages
6-bed units, with 2 rooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds in lounge) with separate shower, toilet and bath. Units equipped with open plan kitchen / dining room / lounge.
Bungalows
3-bed units, equipped with ablutions (all with showers). All units with air-conditioning and kitchen and you have a choice of with or without perimeter view.
Campsites
Tent or caravan sites, with power point, communal ablutions and cooking facilities, maximum of 6 persons per site.
Day visitors
Berg en Dal has a designated day visitor area where day visitors and visitors from other camps can braai (Barbecue) and picnic.

The Restaurant is situated in the main complex over looking the dam. The restaurant has large windows allowing guests to enjoy the view whilst relaxing in our air-conditioned facility. In the evenings guests may sit outside and enjoy the night sounds in the open fresh air. We currently offer our guests an ‘a la carte’ menu and for larger groups a full buffet menu. For breakfast we offer a full English Breakfast or a Continental Breakfast. We also offer the option of light meals from our Quick Service next to the Restaurant. In addition to the Restaurant and quick service, there is a large boma, which can be booked for BBQ’s, private parties and special events such as Weddings and Conferences.

Extra Information
- Plan your trip do not try and cover too great a distance. Kruger is a massive tract of land and frequently visitors try to cover too much ground. Slow travel and regular stopping produces much more action than covering a lot of ground.
- Early mornings and evening time are usually the most productive game viewing periods.
- Remember to bring a camera, binoculars, bird and wildlife reference books, a hat and sunscreen lotion. Also remember to take along medicines such as anti-histamine and lotion for insect stings and bites.
- Do not leave any food unattended, as thieving monkeys and baboons are a constant threat.
- The speed limit is 50 km/h on tar and 40 km/h on gravel.
- Visitors are not permitted to leave their vehicle other than at designated get out points and rest camps.
- Pets are not permitted in a national park.
- Firearms must be declared at the entrance gate and sealed. The seal will be broken upon departure.
- Open vehicles must obtain the necessary permit.
- Feeding of the animals is strictly prohibited for yours and the animal’s safety and well-being.

Climate
Kruger Park lies in a summer rainfall area with possible downpours occurring later in the day. The summer months (October to April) are hot. Winters are warm and mild, with very cool evenings.
