Kambaku Lodge

Kambaku Lodge Toursa site inspection

SEE SPECIAL

For millions of years the Timbavati bushveld has remained untouched, retaining its wild rugged character and basking in its glory as home to all of Africa’s big game. At Kambaku, you will find a refuge – a place of exquisite beauty and peace set amidst several thousand hectares of pristine Timbavati wilderness, wherein vehicle activity is kept to a minimum and radio contact utilised to maximise sightings of interest. The camp overlooks a waterhole that is visited by the Timbavati’s small and big game. The social area includes a lounge with fireplace, a bar, an elevated loft area, an inside and outside dining room and the ultimate al fresco experience – an open-air boma. Kambaku is ideal for hosting small gatherings of family, friends, avid bush and bird lovers, mini-conferences and staff incentives or for celebrating birthdays and special occasions.

The camp accommodates group or individual bookings of up to 16 guests. You may prefer the self-catering option where you bring your own food and beverages and make use of the full time chef at no extra cost. Alternatively, our fully inclusive catering service includes three delicious meals daily. Refreshments from the fully stocked bar are for own account. Either option includes at least two escorted open vehicle game drives per day, walks, accommodation, services, tea and coffee. Lanterns for light, eco-friendly battery power for fans and gas geysers for hot water are just some of the specifics that ensure an original luxurious rustic bush experience.

Transfers available to and from Kambaku Game Lodge.
Optional excursion available in the Timbavati area.
