Badplaas was exellent

"The stay in Badplaas was exellent. We enjoyed the private accommodation as well as the exellent service. The intertainment of children is done very well.

As the intertainment is concern we would see that the game trips should open to all vehicles. Just upgrade the roads and then it can be more profitable for the game resort. There is also a lack of walking trails in the beautiful land outside."

"Our experience at Badplas was rewarding and very nice. However we had some trouble in the reception with our reservation. We had done the payment trough Accommodation Direct, however, when we arrived in the BadPlas resort they said tat the money was not received and we had to double pay for the first night after an argument. However we were then reimbursed on the next day. But other than that we had wonderful staying."

"Thanx for the pretty camping site, we had a view on the mountains, it was awesome!

The bathrooms were clean at all times and there was hot water all the time, THANX!!!!!"

Peace and Quiet

"Accomodation is good , rooms are clean and we had a nice view over the gardens.The hotel was quiet and peaceful , the breakfast very good and staff pleasant."

Camping 14/10/2011 - 16/10/2011

"The resort is lovely and exceptionally neat and clean. However, what spoiled the stay for me was:
1) there are aparently no rules regarding music, loud noises etc in the camping area. Even though we chose a weekend outside peak season, the camping area was very full and there was one group of youngsters who played rave music from early Friday evening to the wee hours of saturday morning. My husband and I hardly managed to sleep a wink and our 3-year-old son was also up every hour because of the noise. Considering that we paid just as much as that group to be there and drove for 3 hours to get there, it was not fair that they ruined what we hoped to be a quiet weekend AWAY from all the city noise and there was nothing we could do about it.
2) The ablusion facilities were lovely, clean and well kept, BUT the cleaning ladies were constantly having loud bantering visits with the maintanance men right at the door of the ablusions. The result was that on more than one occasion, there were black men shamelessly staring into the ladies bathrooms, causing all of us much embarrassment. Please do address this with the staff.
Other than that the resort is lovely and good value for money"
