Important to note is that the camp site does not have its own reception area –
Balule Camp is managed via Satara, and guests are required to coordinate their check-ins either through
Satara or
Olifants camps. This setup can be extremely attractive for backpacking, camping or caravanning communities, looking for an independent, self-catering experience.
The camp grounds incorporate:
• Fifteen tent or caravan sites, without power points
• Communal toilet areas and kitchens
• The sites accommodate a maximum of six people each, the camp hosting a maximum of ninety
• Six rustic , three-bedroom huts, with a communal ablution area. The huts are ventilated, with no windows, cooking utensils, crockery or cutlery
A communal kitchen, gas stoves and communal freezer are all available.
