"We had a wonderful time at Skukuza and Berg-en-dal. Both places were perfect for our staying at Krugers Park. In addition I would like to remark that the people in there was extremely kindly and we were very comfortable with them. Thank you for giving us a great holidays!
We will recommend the place to everyone.

"Wow, what fantastic service this is! From the time of booking to right this minute the whole trip was absolutely fabulous. Berg-en-Dal was great and comfortable and beautifully laid out so that we felt as though we were still out in the bush. We saw lots and lots of animals, I think they all came out to say Hi to my grandson, 15 years old, first time in the bush and absolutely loved every minute.
I have only one small criticism and that was the Sunset Drive. Our driver was very well informed and very friendly but he undertook to travel too far and so drove too quickly. It just became a drive through the night trying to keep as warm as possible. It would be much better to cover less distance and actually see some game.
But we had a wonderful trip and will definitely be back.

Monkeys!!

"We stayed in caravan camp. Staff and general setup was good, as we have come to know it over the years (40+). Shower facilities a bit cramped. Main problem was with vervet monkeys. They really were a menace. Stole food off our table in our presence and broke into a neigbour's caravan, although it was locked. they tore the gauze top and got in. This is something that needs serious attention."

"The camp was great but the game drive from Berg-en-dal was terrible. The guide was totally uninterested in showing up anything. He hardly explained, and when we said goodbye I had to repeat myself twice before he condescended to answer. Obviously he is not responsible for the little we saw, but he could have told us about the night animals we saw and also the ones we did not see. It was a miserable experience and we couldn't wait to get back to the camp. There was a shortage of guides that night possibly due to the soccer game which perhaps he resented missing!"

Great time at the Kruger Park

"We really had a great time and were suprised to get accommodation, since we've decided on the spur of the moment to make this trip. The chalet was cleaned by Doris and she did a very good job. Thank you! We just felt that the the cutlery and kitchen utensils were not sufficient for an "equiped" chalet.
Furthermore, the vervet monkeys were very intrusive and a safety risk to our children.
Overall, we had a lovely time! We enjoyed the tranquility and nature and got the rest we really needed- thank you!"

Boys weekend in the Park

"I organised a boy's only weekend at Berg en Dal with some of my grandsons and their fathers. Great fun was had by all. The park is looking good and the standard is high, as usual. The service at the BnD cafetaria was considerably faster than last year, a point on which I complained about last time. Thanks for the improvement. The only problem this time is that there was only one official processing entries into the park at Malelane gate on the Friday evening, which is probably a peak time, and it took us 15 minutes to get through."

"Al het ons nie die groot 5 almal gesien nie, is die rustigheid en die natuur baie lekker. Om die wild in hulle natuurlike staat te sien is wonderlik. Berg en dal kamp was netjies en gerieflik en skoon. Net een klagte, die geskenke se pryse vir Suid Afrikaners is te hoog. Daar moet aan 'n afslag vir ons gedink word. Baie dankie hou die wildtuin se naam hoog."

"It was great. The cottage was well equipped and the staff were quite helpful. We saw all the animals that we were hoping for, plus some more. We hope to be back again soon. Only problem was cockroaches in the cottage."

Awesome Holiday

"If you want to get away from the "wild animals" who live in the city, get to the Kruger Park for some peace and tranquility. It was the first time for us to stay at the Berg en Dal camp site, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would say that it will become one of our favourite camp sites in the Kruger, the other being Letaba. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It would be nicer if the the caravan sites were grassed of course, but that would be a minor complaint.
