"The loaction was fantastic and the buffet at the restaurant well worth a visit. We had a great time there. However the baboons are a problem and even though we observed the warnings we ended up with baboons in the house opening everything, even the fridge. One cannot sit outside and enjoy the views as you have to keep all doors and windows closed.

Such a pity the managers cant institute some sort of baboon control unit and discourage the baboons from entering the facility.

Very good facilities for kids putt-putt, swimming and trampolines.

The trails are also wonderfull and we managed to run the Guinea Fowl trail (4km) in 46min so dont underestimate the difficulty of the trails.

Would recommend to friends as there isnt another option up there but warn them about the baboons and only stay for 1 night."

Absolutely magnificent!

"Thanks to all the staff at the Blyde River Resort - we stayed in a 4 sleeper chalet and every morning we were priviledged enough to have breakfast with such a splendid view of the three rondawels. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the chalet was neat and tidy.
Thanks to you all - I will definitely return......"
