Crocodile Bridge Restcamp
"Sorry to say but the Toilets at the swimming pool at Lower Sabie were absolutely disgusting. The smell was so terrible we could not enjoy the lovely pool, and had to leave after just a quick dip. This is not very pleasant during summer months not being able to swim. I am really very disappointing with this. We camped at Crocodile Bridge and drove all the way to Lower Sabie for a swim, but could not stand the smell around the pool. What are you going to do about this"

Fun Filled Days In The Kruger
"We had a wonderful time camping in the Kruger National Park. The only problems we have had were the fact that the stands are not demarcated in the caravan park at both Crocodile Bridge and Berg-en-Dal rest camps. I have got no problems with this if everybody respect each others privacy and personal space but if you have to constantly ask your follow camper to move his "braai" fire away from your caravan or to stop banging with his chair against your caravan then you gets a bit hot under the collar. Other than that we have had a wonderful time and are already planning our next trip to the Kruger."

Camping in KNP
"We spent two nights camping at Crocodile Bridge and two at Satara. We were pleasantly surprised to find the staff most welcoming, friendly and informative. The ablution and kitchen facilities were very well maintained, clean and well stocked. The camping area was neat and well kept."

A Gem!
"After many visits to the Kruger Park this was our first stay at Crocodile Bridge. With it's traditional appearance and being a small camp, it is a gem! The roads in the area are therefore not crowded. The game viewing was very good with abundant viewings of impala, warthog and kudu. The camp is well managed and we had a happy stay. A big thank you to the staff for retrieving an item for us that we left behind!"

Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp
"This camp is 2nd best to Berg-en-Dal in that there are only 20 chalets - BD3 Bungalow is nice and roomy for 2 adults although the toilet area is small but a nice large shower. Very neat and tranquil with a nice view looking over the Crocodile river. The shop is small & therefore variety is limited."

Please ban smoking in tents
"Worst stay ever. Couldn't breathe in the safari tent because of the cigarette smoke and bad smell. The tent was kept closed until 14h00 when we were allowed to go in."

Crocodile Bridge Restcamp
"Although I say overall experience is above average, it does not include the dirt roads. They are exceptionally bad.You cannot blame weather as indicated on signs.Technology today is far, far ahead than adverse weather conditions!!! Especially between Malelane and Croc Bridge.
Also lack of communication between camps as the picnic site at S29 dam was closed and there were no signs at exit points indicating closure.
But, return I will, had lovely wild life experience with various animals and their mother nature
Thanks, Dankie, Yabonga, Dankeschon"

One Day Visit
"Reception was fine and Bungalow and beds clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Besides animals as marked we had close sightings of birds such as tawny eagle, pied kingfisher, roller, coucal and we saw squirrels and tortoises and a likkewaan (spelling ? :))."

Crocodile Bridge Restcamp
"Our stay at Kruger as usual was really marvelous. However, we have been travelling to Kruger for a number of years now but have still not seen the illusive Lions. Are there any lions in Kruger.
Was not very happy with the accommodation at Skukuza - normally it is a great stay - not impressed with communal kitchens. Like to do my own thing and not have to 'trek' when cooking a meal.
Overall, always great to visit the Kruger Park.
I look forward to my next stay there and hopefully will then have sight of the illusive lions!!!!"

KNP January 2011
"After the heavy rainfall of December/January the vegetation is too dense and the grass along the roads too long for any meaningfull game viewing. Great weather and accommodation. Friendly people wherever we went in the Kruger"

A delightful experience
"We arrived through Paul Kruger gate too late to travel through the park to our favourite camp, Crocodile Bridge, as we underestimated the distance. The guy in the office was very helpful and told us to drive to Sukuza where we couls stay the first night. We booked an early game drive at 03:45 and were rewarded at first light with a fantastic leopard sighting. She was at the side of the road and walkied about and lay down and posed for us for at least 10 minutes! Amazing! We later encountered an angry male elephant that looked about to charge the vehicle and our female ranger coped briliantly with the situation. It took a while in the Sukuza office, but we were eventually offered a gorgeous self catering chalet for the 3 of us, in large grounds leading down to the river. Next day we drove to Crocodile Bridge, where they seem to have given the rondavels a facelift and there is now an official entrance gate there. All in all a wonderful 2 days with our English guest who was blown away! Only critisism - the ladies in the offices at reception at both camps are VERY unfriendly and need more training in customer relations."

To rest and just be one with the bush
"The safari tent was better than what we expected. It is really nice and has everything one needs. The camp itself is beautiful and well looked after. Will do this again and recommend it to everybody."

Krokodilbrug verblyf
"Naas Shingwedzi kamp was Krokodilbrug kamp waarde vir geld! Ek loop met krukke en die parkeer area was so gemerk. Die kamp was ook skoon en netjies. Netso was die ablusieblok.
Sal weer hier kam kuier!"

Crocodile Bridge Restcamp
"First time visitor to Crocodile Bridge. Will certainly be back - staff excellent - bungalow clean - animal spotting one of the best. Please do not allow to become as commercialised as most of the other
camps have become. We visit the Park at least three times a year and this has been one of the most enjoyable. All accolades to the management and staff"

A very enjoyable 2 days
"This was our 2nd stay at Crocodile Bridge. The camp accommodation is basic, but clean, comfortable and excellent value rondavels and the kitchenette well stocked with equipment. There is no restaurant, but a shop which serves take away breakfast, etc., if needed and also sells food and gifts. We booked an early morning and night game drive and saw female lions and cubs lying on the road unperturbed as they had killed a buffalo nearby. On the night drive we saw baby hyenas up close, playing. Saw many animals on our own, including a female leopard and one of her cubs. She had killed an impala and put it in a tree and was at the base of the tree waiting. We were able to see her and her cub clearly, it was wonderful! Our guests were enchanted with the place and loved Kruger Park."

Wonderful time
"Dear all
Our Kruger park Trip was amazing. We enjoyed to be in your wonderful park and to so see all this beautiful animals in their natural environment and not in the Zoo. Especially the night Safari was one of the best experiences we had while our ZA holidays. We loved Krugerpark and we will come back.
The only thing I wondered was, that if I asked for an extension they told me all campings are fully booked, but I had not the same impression while we stayed in the camps."
