The quickest way to get to the Richtersveld Transfrontier National Park from the N7 in South Africa and B1 in Namibia is to turn off at Steinkopf and approach via Port Nolloth and Alexander Bay with only the last 80 km being on dirt.

Thank you for the Richtersveld, it was awesome! Some of the roads are just badly corrugated, and something sad was the new diggings between De Hoop, and Die Werf. It is sad to see how badly dug up this part is, and that it is simply left this way. But once again, thank you for the opportunity to visit this amazing sacred place.
