Owing to its proximity to Namibia, traditionally a malaria risk area, guests to Richtersveld National Park should consult with their GP or chemist regarding medication before booking accommodation here.

Children Policy:

Children are welcome at De Hoop, but are charged as adults.

The Richtersveld is special, silent, beautiful....will always go back for this experience! We saw plenty birds, Springbok and Klipspringers, fished for Yellowfish and Barbel in the river... took stunning pictures... left only our footprints, as did the Richtersveld in our lives!!
