We stayed at the Edeni River Lodge in September 2010. We were actually booked into the Shiduli reserve (same management) but when we arrived we were told we were being transferred to Edeni - and upgraded to the Presidential suite.
We had a most enjoyable three nights. The accomodation was extremely spacious and well equipped given it was in the middle of almost nowhere. The staff were really friendly and obliging. Food was fairly standard european but that was to be expected. Our accomodation had a plunge pool and overlooked a waterhole popular with impala, kudu, monkeys etc.
The game drives were really enjoyable. Arriving / leaving at midday meant we had six drives, each lasting around three hours. We saw loads of animals including the big five. The rangers pointed out lots of animals and birds we would have missed ourselves and gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos.
We really enjoyed our stay and could recommend it to others.
