Karongwe Private Game Reserve is home to over forty mammal species, including the big five, and a host of bird, fish, and insect species, all under the supervision and protection of the local community.
Kuvjename' River, powerful and attractive, snakes its way through Karongwe, flanked on both sides by an assortment of animals, birds, and exquisite bushveld scenes. It is, also, at one point home to the timeless Indlovu River Lodge - a peaceful and family orientated bush lodge, with the levels of luxury and seclusion synonymous with great getaways. Its three exceedingly peaceful chalets, gorgeous private swimming pool, timber finishings and fantastic safari sightings are all intrinsic parts of its character, constituting the unmistakable experience of Indlovu River Lodge.
