About the Lodge
Nestled into the western bank of the Sand River, hugging the
Kruger National Park border, is world renowned conservation area,
Exeter Private Game Reserve. Fashioned around an experience of "the Africa of old", while still maintaining high standards of comfort and luxury, Exeter is known internationally for its diversity of wildlife - from
Big Five sightings to endangered wild dog.
Exeter River Lodge occupies part of the western sector of the
Sabi Sand Game Reserve, hugging the Sand river. It is from here that guests' accommodation hangs over the impressive landscape below, soaking in the atmosphere of lush tree canopies and rustling bushes. Lodge and suites alike borrow their style and character from the calm tones and scenic beauty of this area.
