A Fly-in Safari to Mpumalanga staying at Tremisana Lodge with the opportunity to view the wildlife in Kruger National Park.
Fly-in Safari's depart every day from Johannesburg and Durban with accommodation at Tremisana Lodge, situated in non-endemic malarial areas adjacent to the Kruger Park and forms part of the extended Kruger Park ecosystem, home of the Big Five. We try to guarantee high standards and good service.
Day 1: Tremisana
You wing your way from Johannesburg to Phalaborwa's Gateway to Kruger airport, where our ranger is on hand to welcome you. Clients on the morning flight enter Kruger Park through Phalaborwa Gate, a 2 minute drive from the airport. Enjoy game viewing and birdwatching from our open Gameviewer. Clients on the midday flight are normally transferred to Tremisana Game Lodge, and enjoy an afternoon game drive on the open Landcruiser. After dark, your ranger will use a powerful spotlight to identify nocturnal animals. Dinners are held in the open boma under the African sky, 
the cuisine will be traditional African meals.
Day 2 and 3: Kruger National Park
Enter Kruger Park at sunrise for a full day of game viewing and bird watching. After breakfast, explore the game-rich Central Section, which boasts open plains where visibility is excellent. The abundance of prey species like zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and impala ensures a high concentration of predators in the zone. Dinner is again held in a reeded boma around a log fire under the African stars. The Mopani woodlands north of Letaba are home to some of the biggest Tuskers in Africa. A close-up encounter with one of these giants from our open Gameviewer is sure to get your adrenalin moving.
Day 4: Cheetah Park
Depending on the departure time of your flight, you will either have a bush walk followed by a visit to the Cheetah Park (when available) or spend another full day in the central and northern areas of the Kruger Park.
Tremisana Game Lodge
Situated in the 45 000 ha Balule Game Reserve is electrically fenced and offers 14 air-conditioned en-suite thatched chalets fitted with insect-proof screens. For the budget-conscious, we offer 4 rooms under thatch at greatly reduced rates. Tremisana Lodge boasts a beautiful tropical garden, a sparkling swimming pool, a boma and a floodlit waterhole.

Clients on direct overseas flights are collected from Kruger Mpumalanga Airport in Nelspruit.
Children
Children of all ages are welcome. Please be aware that children under 6 have to do game drives in a closed vehicle and children under 12 are not allowed on the bush walks - an alternative activity will be arranged for them.
