Kapama, what and exceptional destination with staff that know the true meaning of Service Excellence. Wayne and Petrus needs special mentioning by going the extra mile in showing us the Big 5 twice in three days!

Kapama River Lodge is absolutely brilliant. The setting and rooms are beautiful, the staff and game rangers friendly and the service and food fantastic! This is the ultimate luxury experience in the bush. Unfortunately our stay was limited to one night only.
(Our only disappointment was the lack of warm bath water on a cold evening).

I had asked for a birthday cake on the morning of the 11 August 2011 @ breakfast & confirmed with the lady @ reception (dont know her name).She checked with Accommodations Direct which confirmed this, but the cake never came. I am extremely dissappointed as it was my mums 50th Birthday & we opted for a holiday instead of a big party. although the holiday itself was great the attention to my personal request was not. Nothing you guys can do will bring back the special day. I must say that our Guide Gerrit & the tracker were exceptional though.

On arrival the staff were friendly and organized, after the long drive to get there a refreshing cool clothe by a smiling ranger given made me feel as though I had just stepped into first class SAA. The rangers are extremely knowledgeable and after many drives over the years my husband and I though there would not be new experiences and information that we would have. To our surprise our Ranger taught us several new things about the wild and surprisingly enough the stars. We were both very impressed!!!!!I can give accolades to Robert and Magnum our Ranger and Tracker. Well Done Kapama, there is always something new to learn.
