Kruger Park Private Concessions

As far as holiday and safari destinations go, the Kruger National Park is well established as one of the foremost wildlife sanctuaries in the entire world - at an impressive 18,989 square kilometers big, the park is easily the largest in South Africa, and is considered a safari benchmark by the majority of the guests who book there. Owing to its gigantic size and expansive lodging are the overtones of adventure, and a rugged, safari theme that embody the Kruger Park name.

With nine main entrances, extensive and varied ecosystems, a wider selection of mammal species than anywhere else in Africa, and optimum positioning amidst the attractive bushveld of the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces, the Kruger National park is a continuously expanding and orbited entity, incorporating sections of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, Gonarezhou National Park and the Limpopo National Park. Kruger National Park is the complete safari experience, with great Luxury Game Lodges to choose from.

Luxury Lodges within the Kruger National Park

Imbali Safari Lodge, set into one of Kruger National Park's nine popular private concessions, is universally recognised as one of the Kruger Park's more homely lodge venues.
Built under low impact environmental conditions, the lodge itself hosts an, at times, extremely vulnerable ecosystem. Luxury suites at the lodge are fitted with private salas, and accommodation is all well appointed, and romantically decorated.

Rhino Post Safari Lodge occupies the Southern end of its specific concession - a luxury satellite to the Mutlumuvi river, with a watering hole providing fascinating game viewing from the comfort of the lodge itself.
Safari enthusiasts regularly comment on the quiet and privacy at Rhino Post - secluded, as it were, and with an air of exclusivity, it is subject to very little interference from the outside world.

Hamiltons Tented Camp plays out like an exotic locale from a movie - gently swaying canvas tents, stilted high up near the tops of the trees. Interconnected platforms, crisscrossed by wooden walkways under and near which, local elephants wander aimlessly.
Gorgeous outdoor showers with full views of the wonderful surrounding flora are complimented by the cozy indoor baths, with fantastic views all their own.

Snap up shots of indigenous hippopotamus, lion, buffalo, cheetah, black and white rhino, and leopard on your trips around the park - then retire to a gorgeous lodge for the evening. Kruger National Park's Imbali Concession plays home to the charming wilderness retreat of Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge - accommodation is provided in six thatch roofed, en-suite suites, and five star facilities include a sparkling swimming pool and the ever popular nomadic spa experience.

Shishangeni Private Lodge owes much of its character and popularity to its game ranger team - noted upon by guests for its fantastic game drives, informative safaris helmed by groups of informative and entertaining field experts. Guests are taken to find specifically what they're looking for, a personal service which extends all the way back to the lodge.
Merging the professionalism of a business retreat, and the colour and adventure of a safari holiday, Shishangeni is 15,000 hectares of safari brilliance.

Jock Safari Lodge - home to charming accommodation and fantastic cuisine, this Kruger Park concession sits squarely in between the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers. Activities at the lodge range from safari outings and guided tours, to night time star gazing.
A gorgeous concession, with leafy vegetation and peaceful accommodation, Jock Safari Lodge is also geared towards weddings and conferencing, with wonderfully appointed accommodation and a complete range of facilities at guests' disposal.

Tinga Private Game Lodge encapsulates the larger than life safari image perfectly - guests tell stories of leopards attending to their kills in nearby trees, colonial furnishings a hint at times of explorers past, and gorgeous rain-mists hovering nearby.
Rangers and guides here are all well versed and approachable, sparing no effort to bring guests into contact with more than just the standard Big Five selection of wildlife during their time in the bush.

The Outpost Lodge provides rustic accommodation and a homely and inviting venue, with warm furnishings and a sweeping view of the Kruger Park's Makuleke Region, the Outpost is home to a quietness and charm endearing in a safari lodge.
Not all rusticity and relaxation, guests can indulge in game drives and birding outings, enjoy a meal at the restaurant, trek through the veld on foot, or hover around the swimming pool or cozy bar.
