Hamiltons is a couples safari lodge, you have supper on your own table for two, lit by candle

the setting is perfect with a watering hole just below you where you will see all the animals you could want.

the walk to the tents over a wooden walkway is fantastic, the elephants come right up to you and the tents themselves are luxourious with aircon, showers outside to watch the animals and bathtubs inside with good views

WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE, SERVICE AND VIEW

I TOTALLY RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO'S THINKING OF GOING TO HAMILITONS TENTED CAMP TO ABSOLUTELY GO AND DO THE BOOKING

WE WERE THERE ON HONEYMOON AND WE CANT STOP TALKING ABOUT THE GREAT AND EXCEPTIONAL FOOD, SERVICE AND JUST EVERYTHING THEY OFFER.

WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANKS TO THE TEAM OF HAMILTONS TENTED CAMP AND THE VERY GOOD GAME DRIVER MIKE.

WE HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIFES AND WILL NEVER FORGET THEM.

ALL THE LITTLE THINGS LIKE THE STORIES AT NIGHT ON OUR BED TO THE PERSONALIZED NAME PLATE AT THE DOOR AS WELL AS THE LETTER FOR US. WE DO APPRICIATE IT AND WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN.

SO, TO END MY REVIEW I WOULD LIKE TO STATE THAT HAMILTONS TENTED CAMP IS A ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO EXPERIENCE THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK.

The impression of Hamilton's Tented camp that is indelibly engraved in mind is the friendly service I received from every single staff member. The warmth of their smiles never faded, their humility beyond compare. If all companies/insitutions can take heed of this - if you treat your clients/customers like royalties, then the price you pay for the service is insignificant! Thanks Harold and staff.

And the gourmet food was divine!! Only too much :-)

Expensive, sure, but when you consider all of your food (and that is wonderfully cooked and presented: dinner, breakfast, lunch, high tea and sundowner snacks), two game drives a day, a swimming pool, a view over a watering hole from your room, and all this in the centre of the park, is included in the price this is good value for money. When you throw in some of the nicest and friendliest of staff, rangers with awesome knowledge of the flora and fauna then you have an exceptional place. We are saving up to go back already. My husband and I spent two glorious nights at Hamiltons. We have been to many luxury lodges within the Kruger but this is by far my favourite to date.

The location is breathtaking and we were put up in the best "tent", room 1, I was informed by the extremely cheerful and efficient manager, Harold. On our second day elephants played in the river right in front of our balcony and the resident male hippo provided much amusement.

Breakfasts were exceptional and the chef came to our table every evening to ensure our food was up to standard. I was so sorry that I hadn't booked a longer stay and cannot wait to return in next year. Robynne, May 2011

Hamiltons Tented Camp was such a great experience! The room was beautiful, the food was great and the service was fantastic.
