Accommodation was more than sufficient and better than expected. Dinner in the restaurant was fair to average. Frankly the food was far too "fancy". Steak marinated in vodka and something else not really bush fare. Would have far rather had the choice of a braai. Having said that when asked not to cook the steak in the marinade the kitchen was very willing to do that and the meal was acceptable. Great situation of the guest cottage and entirely comfortable - glad there was aircon. Cottage extremely clean and beautifully serviced. Would definitely return to Letaba.

Everything was great, we had a marvelous time until we spotted the poached rhino just the other side of the Letaba river. It was a sad sight to see!!!!

Dankie aan Dawid en sy span wat vir ons groep Tafels, stoele en n drombraai gereel het, dit het ons kuier/etes baie vergemaklik!

Food, is it so difficult to put a meal on? There were so many overseas visitors there, I felt a shame for SA. My brother from Switzerland ate eventually a steak with veggies. They were from frozen overcooked. The next night he ordered a soup of the day hoping for better. The soup was the overcooked vegetables of the previous day put through a blender! What is that? SA wants to promote tourism? One can get special safari trips in other countries for less than what we spent to stay alive in the Kruger. Should he ever come again and we would visit Kruger we will take all the food. It is so shameful for SA. They could do job creation at the Kruger. Get a decent cook 2 kitchenaids to help for every camp and we put on some eatible food! Nobody expects a five course meal but get some food - the toasted cheese sandwich lacks cheese etc. The people from overseas have money and they will spend!

We had a lovely time in the park. The staff at Letaba camp were very friendly and helpful. We have booked a safari tent but when we got there the tent was barricaded off due to the floods. We went back to reception and without any fuss or hassle the assistant gave us additional accommodation. Thanks a lot.
