Very nice, but .....
"Very nice, but .....It is a pity that the maintenance in the tent camp is not up to standard - also empty bottles and litter around tents!"

Game at Onder-Sabie
"Strongly recommend the sunset drive.
Got to sleep on brand new beds, without headboards. Beds very nice but pillows keep on slipping off the bed. Onder-Sabie has lots of game to see."

"The family cottage here was the worst in Kruger. Needs updating. Three different doors and keys, worn out, no views, location not appealing. Compensated by the better quality in the restaurant and nice location of this."

Getting There!
"I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the accommodation was good. But notice many areas were not clean, I'm talking about the camp in general. Spent more time on this aspect,a neat and clean accommodation and good mattress is always a delight for the weary traveller.
Staff need to learn the art of putting on a happy face, whatever the circumstance is! After all this is the first contact the client will have with what's in store in the Park.
You are getting there but you need to work on these points."

Beautiful Lower Sabie
"Lower Sabie rest camp is beautiful and would make the Kruger park my home in a heart beat. Absolutely amazing being in the bush, I don't even have to see anything, just majestic being there, thanks to all for making it so special."

The customer is always right?
"What can I say. To start our holiday, everything was arranged and ready for our visit - starting at the entrance gate at Pabeni, the reception at Lower Sabie, (efficient and very, very friendly) and then our tents (no. 7 and 8) The service at the shop and restaurant, friendly waiters and efficient service.
Unfortunately some of the visitors does not obey the rules and it is not always as quiet in the evening as I would have liked it ( I understand it is their culture), people speed and has often disturbed a peaceful scene while we were photographing special moments. Beer bottles out of the windows!? Loud music?
I think the customers are not always right, maybe we would have to work on our attitude! But the park! WOW. It is getting better every time we visit!"

"The tent was terrible.
It is like a bake oven in the tent; the heat is unbearable, there is a roof fan but has no purpose. These tents need an air conditioner.
The tents are also too much on top of each other, they should have been spaced further apart. Our neighbors were not even 10 meters away from us, they also partied and talked and talked till the early hours of the morning. So once again not much sleep."

Accommodation not up to standard
"We stayed in the older bungalows which is not up to standard for the price we paid!I know that they are busy renovating the bungalows ,but I think a price discount is in order for the older bungalows. We had a terrific time on the sunset drive!"

"Lower Sabie is a great place to stay! We did two game drives and saw a lot of animals. I can really recommend the night drive it was an awesome experience.
The room was clean and big enough for 2 persons. If you want to use the communal kitchen you have bring everything with yourselfe like pots, plates and so on."

"Front office was fast at helping us change our reservation from Skukuza to Lower Sabie - only critique was that they did not refund any money despite the fact that we changed to something smaller and cheaper. Mosquito nets were missing. Otherwise Lower Sabie is beautiful situated with nice bungalows and does seem packed or too touristic."

absolute wonderful time in Kruger
"First time in summer. It was beautiful. never have i seen the park so beautiful and green. Lower Sabie's ablution facilities needs attention - tiles cracked and missing. staff wonderful. Restaurant where take aways can be ordered was out of stock of approx 70% of their menu. Lots of overseas visitors and not good for our country. management need to step up their stock taking. We enjoyed our stay so much, will visit in summer again"
