Travel routes and times from central Gauteng are listed below. Travel by road requires entry through one of Kruger National Park's gates.
By Road - Malelane Gate: • Take the N4 to Nelspruit and head through Nelspruit to Malelane.
• Then turn left at the Kruger National Park sign just outside Malelane and head to the gate. Allow between 4 to 5 hours for the trip to the gate.

Malelane Camp is approximately 5 km away from the gate. Allow about 10 minutes for the drive to the camp, however if you want to enjoy the game viewing possibilities give yourself more time!

Recommended game drives from this camp:1. From Malelane camp, take the
H3, which passes a number of waterholes and points of interest, including the Jock of the Bushveld memorial, to the picnic spot overlooking Jock’s Waterhole.
2. Take the
S110, which branches off the
H3 and loops around the Berg-en-Dal rest camp. Just past Berg-en-Dal, the road joins with the
S120, which leads up to the Matjulu waterhole.
