Maroela Restcamp

Finding oneself caravanning on the banks of the Timbavati River, on the western boundry of the Kruger National Park, Maroela rest camp provides one of two opportunities in the entire park for exclusive catering for caravans.

Night drives exhibit the Kruger's nocturnal creature community, guided bush walks take groups of up to eight people out into surrounding bush, and what is considered the most picturesque of all the camp's routes falls a stone's throw away from the camp, along the Timbavati River. Those less inclined towards trekking can watch a host of indigenous wildlife as they frequent a watering hole close to the camp's fence.
