Guests of the
Mata Mata camp may attend lectures and slide shows dealing with the ecology and wildlife of the park at large, and holiday programs are organized from the information center. For the adventurers, there are night drives and day walks, as well as 4 x 4 trails and loops in and around the park for the purposes of self driven exploring.
Facilities include laundry tubs and ironing facilities (no irons) in the camping areas, a watering hole hide, limited freezing facilities (too small to be used by tourists), a shop selling commodities such as meat, milk, cheese, eggs, bread, wine and beer, a swimming pool, and a vehicle filling station (premium, unleaded and diesel).
