Wonderful
"What an awesome time in an awesome camp. The bungalow was exceptional, no 52, with the best view. We took our Australian family with, their first time in SA. We realized that we do not appreciate our country like we should. We really enjoyed every minute, saw the big five!!! Awesome !!!! Thanks for a lovely visit to Kruger."

Mopani Camp Trip
"My family and I had a nice time in Mopani rest Camp. The guest cottage was lekker and the receiption was good too. The only thing that did not impress us is the single beds in all the rooms - That was not ayoba! I mean how do you expect a couple to sleep in there?
Game drive also disappointed us because we saw small things like rats, bets, camelion, etc. We saw all the big animals when we were driving around on our own. My expectation to pay these huge amounts for a game drive would be that it is guaranteed that you are going to see at least 3 of the Big 5."

"Please note that it is the fourth time we are visiting the Kruger Park since 1993. Accommodation was perfect
Night Drive was perfect.
We noticed a serious decline about the quality and the service regarding the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) -"

Kruger National Park Sept 2009
"The accommodation at Mopani is unbelievable. The building where we stayed was soooo comfortable. The way the buildings are placed made the "bush" experience very authentic.
We also stayed in Hazyview Cabanas to see the south of the park and that was where we saw the Lion, Rhino and Leopard. We saw very beautiful birds int the north and the south of the park."

Fanastic Holiday
"Accomodation was great value for money, the game veiwing was wonderful and we were very lucky to see the animals that we did. At a water trough a Hyena was hiding in the water waiting, some Warthog were nearby on their way to the water, when a lone male lion came running towards the main water tank where some other warthogs were drinking, the hyena moved off very quickly, the lion missed the warthogs at the tank, but the other warthogs ran behind the lion. This seemed odd to me, any idea why?"

super
"Bungalows great value. Camp very well appointed. Staff fantastic. Saw less game. From the river loops on the southern end of the camp, looking straight down from the river bank, saw plenty of enormous tiger fish swimming in the pools of water below, together with, it would appear some form of yellow fish. Was surprised by the tigers in that river."

"We enjoyed it very much : your staff was friendly and helpful. We saw a lot of animals (lions, rhinos, buffaloes, kudus, monkeys, crocs, hippos, many species of birds, and even a big Nile monitor in Mopani. Very impressive !
Its our second time in Kruger Park and we do recommend it to our friends in France. We also really enjoyed the rest camps : very clean and convenient."

Mopani the quiet pearl
"You might be deceived into thinking the camp is boring when you drive in. But wait till you check into a bungalow or cottage overlooking the dam-then things begin to happen. Wake up at dawn and enjoy mother earth waking up-it is splendid! I will visit again as I have always done."

Bats!
"When we got at Mopani, our first Bugalow had a dripping geyser. They then moved us to a bat infested bungalow. My son could not sleep on the top bunkbed because the batdung was dripping on him. When we ate at the restaurant almost nothing on the menu was available and those left were almost inedible. We were very disappointed because we came far for that visit."

Return Trip
"I would like to come back to Kruger when I can be able to see some cats. I was not able to see any cats, only buffalo and a few elephants. I am told that one should visit the Satara camp as it is an open hunting ground for Lions at least."

Mopani
"We enjoyed our stay at Mopani Camp.
We drove from Phalaborwa to Satara Camp. From Olifants camp up to Satara we saw all the big ones
except the Cheetha. We had nice weather, not too hot, not too cold.
We really enjoyed the time.
Thanks for helping us."
