Addo Park is home to the magnificent Big Five (which are usually spotted on trips out into the park at large), as well as red hartebeest, common duiker, eland, kudu and grysbok,Burchell’s zebra, bushpig, warthog, vervet monkey and various other small mammals. The park is also home to around 250 species of bird. Covered with Albany Thicket, patches of this grassland also show the area's history as a farmland before it was incorportated into the park. Narina Bush rest Camp is known for its vibrant birdlife.
