Nossob Restcamp
"The entire experience of the 4 nights and days that 3 of us spent in the park was of a high standard.
The Tweerivieren chalet was beyond our expectations it being so new, the Nossob chalet was not so new and could be called "rustic" but comfortable and clean, we could not ask for more taking into consideration the distance required to get goods and material into the camp. Kalahari tented camp was spectacular,comfortable and clean.
All in all we were greatly impressed with the standard of accommodation.
Although the distances between camps is long, there was always something to see , fortunately we enjoy birds ,small animals, rodents as well as the more spectacular anmals.
There is not the variety of species of game that is available in some of the other parks eg. Addo and Kruger we were well satisfied with what we saw.
My party was expecting the worst of roads conditions, allowing for the warning that the roads were not suitable for sedan vehicles. We were in a KIA Sportage 4X4 with the tyre pressure lowered to the recomended pressure and in 4 wheel drive we were quite comfortable. Some of the stretches were "smooth" but others very corrugated.
In all it was a good experience and if possible we will repeat it.
I have recomended a visit to friends and family that I have come across since returning home to George.
