Those interested in getting a more personalised sense of the park can partake in one of the extremely popular nature walks, or take a relaxing birding excursion.
Added to this are the scenic riverboat cruises, canoeing trips on the Mzinene River, and optional coastal flights, snorkelling, scuba diving, and deep-sea fishing, turtle viewing, and horse riding.
Phinda Forest lodge is accessible to the disabled, as well as offering baby sitter services, restaurants and pubs, laundry and valet, a safety deposit box, swimming pool, a pool table, a curio shop, and internet access.
