Outdoor activities at Potjiespram range from camel and horse riding trails, mountain biking, to river rafting, canoeing and guided vehicle tours of the immediate area, and hiking and walking trails. The park at large has no shops, but guests can use the filling station and purchase supplies at the general store in Sendelingsdrif, open on weekdays only.

Sendelingsdrif's restored pontoon provides a convenient crossing point the Garib (Orange) River - a trip around which a four hour drive is required.

Regulations are as follows:

Maximum carrying capacity is 6 Metric Tones or:

• 2 standard 4x4 vehicles without trailers
• 1 standard 4x4 vehicle with trailer
• 2 standard light motor vehicles with trailers
• 1 bus with a seating capacity of less than 20
Hours:

Summer and winter: 8:00 – 16:15 (weather permitting)
