By Air:The closest airport to
Pretoriuskop Camp is Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) that is situated between Nelspruit and White River. KMIA is situated approximately 15 km from White River and about 50 km from Numbi Gate. There are daily scheduled flights between KMIA and OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, with less frequent flights from Cape Town and Durban International Airports respectively.
By Road - Numbi Gate: • Take the N4 to Nelspruit and then take the R40 to White River.
• Just outside White River take the R538 and head to the gate. Allow between 4 to 5 hours for the trip to the gate.
• Pretoriuskop camp is 9 km away from the gate. Allow about 20 minutes for the drive to the camp, however if you want to enjoy the game viewing possibilities give yourself more time!

Recommended game drives from this camp:1. Take the
H1-1 to the right, out of Pretoriuskop. The
S66 dirt road leads to the Vervoeram, or take the
S11 further on past the Napi Rocks. At Pretoriuskop, exit the
H1 on the
S14 and keep left, joining the
H2-2 (Voortrekker Road), which leads past Jock’s Birthplace back to the
H3. At the
H3 junction, you can either turn left, back towards
Skukuza, or turn right, and continue to Malelane Gate.
2. The
S14 and
S8 are connected, short loops around the Pretoriuskop camp, which join the
H1-1 leading to Numbi Gate. On the other side of the
H1-1, opposite Pretoriuskop and adjacent to Numbi are several short loops: the
S3,
S7 and
S10.
