3 Day Kruger Lodge Experience (BS3) reviews

We really enjoyed our trip!!
Everything was well planned, organised and worked out without any problem. The tour guides and people at the lodge were extremely friendly, professional und nice. The location itself was very nice as well. The rooms were always clean and looked nice. Sandra Spruenken, April 2011

We had a very pleasant stay at Thornhill Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed all the activities planned, the afternoon game drive, the morning walk and the all day safari in the Kruger National Park was fanatastic.

The actual time in the park: Awesome, fantastic, superb,
trip of a life time....

The agent: ruined it for us as they didn't actually listen to our needs and situation. This meant we ended up with two 12 hour drives and hotel accommodation costs we could have avoided: In essence the lady we dealt with directly lied to us saying we had to use them and we couldn't go direct

Advice: Book direct with the Lodges, cheaper and at least you will get everything that counts without paying commission to an agent that doesn't listen.

Accommodation and host excellent. Ability to accommodate special requests was really appreciated and the fact that there was only myself on the 3day option, meant that transfers from Johannesburg to Kruger were exclusive (normally you would need min. number of passengers for such a transfer to operate), so appreciate flexibility.
The only hiccup was the late pick up for the safari on the first day (African time!) Debbi Stockhammer, April 2012
