5 Day Budget Kruger Safari at Private Game Lodge (VO3) reviews

While Tremisana Lodge is not what you would call "upmarket" it provided us with a very nice 5 days accomodation and meals. Any issues were immediately attended to by the attentive staff. Pickups and tours / excursions were well organised and the guides were friendly and knowledgable. Just a single recommendation and that is to cater for vegetarians just use plain vegeatables not packaged protein meals that taste like meat! All in all it was very good value for money. We stayed at Tremisana game lodge with Viva safaris.The accommodation was comfortable and not over done. We enjoyed watching the monkeys have breakfast as the same time as us and eating round the fire in the evening.The food was delicious, interesting and plentiful.Our hostess at the lodge, Florence, was always cheerful and helpful. She even looked up the test match score on her blackberry every evening for us!The game drives were well planned and led by two exceptional guides who were knowledgeable and showed us so much more than the big game. We particularly enjoyed the walking safari, learning about the smaller animals and general bush craft.
