Did not camp here
"We were warned about getting stuck in thick sand if you do not have a 4x4 so we drove through to this camp with someone who had one and decided that the sites that was still open was in thick powdery sand and the apes realy took over. We decided to stay there the next time we go to the Richtersveld. Enjoyed every minute."

We enjoyed the stay, but..
"We really enjoyed the time in the the Richtersveld, but it's a pity that the park has a bad name for maintanance on the toilets, and unfortunately, it was the ladies shower and toilet that wasn't working properly. At kokerboomkloof, there is the very nice toilets, but no water connected. If there is no water, it would have been better not to build anything. Now it gives a bad name to the park.I think, no toilets is better than broken toilets."
