Just like many of the camps in this are,
Notten's is home to impressive selections of Big 5 and various other animal groups, all of which have spent so much time in the park that the presence of tourists and rangers has ceased to startle them - making game viewing a pleasure. Hyena are also regularly spotted in the area, as well as grey duiker, kudu, bushbuck impala, common waterbuck, and nyala, elephant, white rhino, buffalo, and giraffe.
There are also 303 bird species native to this area, and are a regularly snapshot delight - especially on guided walking tours of the area.
