Day visits to the park are not recommended, due to the large distance required to actually arrive at the park itself, unless accommodation nearby is acquired.

Sendelingsdrif filling station is the closes source of petrol for visitors:

• Fuel Station hours: Everyday from 08:00 to 16:00

Disappointed to say the least. Arrived at pond on Saturday 18 at about 12 noon. Nobody operating the pontoon. I also have not been told that there is only certain operating hours for the pontoon coming in from Rosh Pinah side. Had to find other accomodation and left Namibia the following day via Vioolsdrift.
