Park officials warn that certain creatures which inhabit the park could prove dangerous if not approached or handled correctly. These may include bats, spiders, snakes, and scorpions.
The camp and access roads to
Shimuwini Camp
are restricted to guests of the camp, and bookings can be made through Central Reservations. The camp itself is also situated within close proximity to the larger rest camps, thus affording guests the use of these larger camps' amenities if needed.
