"The camp was clean and tidy but the access was not convenient as one had to park in an enclosure and carry ones baggage to the tent. There should be more than one small refrigerator."

"Our visit to Addo was great fun. Our guests [my daughters and their boyfriends] were amazed at how many animals we saw and how close we could get to them. The tented camp was a unique experience. Surrounded by inquisitive elephants is was a special and unique experience. The rats were just small mice that were also very inquisitive!

"Never been to Addo before. Was a excellent first experience. Except hole in tent. Rat got in kept us awake whole night. Next night we blocked it so no prob. But unforgettable ellies are stunning. Easy to see."

Lovely tents

"We enjoyed the tented camp very much. The beds mattresses were too hard, but the rest of the experience was very nice. Loved the bush the tents were in. will do it again. Would be nice if you had a 5L bottle (maybe with tap) at the camp, for washing hands, etc. Thanks for great weekend."

Spekboom Tented Rest Camp

"Spekboom - tent and ablution facility was good, clean and available but to far apart. Parking of car also to far from tent. Electrical fence shocked met when I try to get gate back on rail as it derailed when opened - you should look into this as I had chest paid for next half hour."
