Table Mountain National Park - Wildlife & Vegetation
The park's wildlife population includes several varieties of South African antelope, including the Klipspringer, Eland, Bontebok, and common duiker. It also includes mammals such as the Cape Mountain Zebra, porcupine, Striped Polecat, Cape Clawless Otter , Water mongoose and the Cape Fox. Add too this an exciting array of snakes, reptiles, lizards and fish, and you can see why the Table Mountain National Park fauna are such a draw card.
Straddling the two bio-geographic provinces specific to the Southernmost tip of Africa, safari travelers also have the rare opportunity to venture out and spot Southern Right and Humpback whales, Bottlenose, common and Dusky dolphins.
