Travel routes and times from central Gauteng are listed below. Travel by road requires entry through one of Kruger National Park's gates.
By Road - Orpen Gate:• Head toward Nelspruit on the N4 and take the R540 Belfast turn off.
• At Lydenburg turn left onto the R36 heading north.
• 30 km before Hoedspruit turn right onto the R531 and head to Orpen gate. Allow between 4 to 5 hours for the trip to the gate.

Talamati is 30 km away from the gate. Allow about 1 ½ hours for the drive to the camp, however if you want to enjoy the game viewing possibilities give yourself more time!

Recommended game drives from this camp:1. Talamati is a short drive from the Muzandzeni picnic spot. To get there, exit the camp left onto the
S145 and turn left again onto the
S36. Travelling north, take the first right onto the
S126. Muzandzeni is located on the
S126.
2. Take the
S145, which runs in front of Talamati, to the right. Just after the bend to the right, the road becomes the
S140 and it can be followed all the way up to the
S106 T-junction. Turn left onto the
S106, where the Rabelais Museum and Ranger Station are located.
