Talamati Bushveld camp

Spread evenly, in a long line along the N'waswitsontso River, are fifteen secluded, family cottages belonging to the accommodating Talamati camp. Part of the
Kruger's movement to provide smaller, luxury camps in more removed areas of the park, Talamati is also a private facility, only allowing residents access to the camp and interproperty roadways. Like the other camps of this design, Talamati is within close proximity to a larger rest camp, guests being allowed use of the larger camp's amenities and shops.
The Xitsonga word Talamati translates as 'lots of water', ironic when considering the river is actually mostly dry. Clay soil in the riverbed traps reservoirs of underground water, tributaries flowing into the lush vegetation. The camp itself is located in an open valley, maximising game viewing opportunities for both grazers and their ever-present predators.
